San Francisco Clogging Classes

Clogging is a fun American folk dance similar to tap dancing, but with a much more relaxed, bucolic feel. Our classes are fun and laid back with students of all ages and walks of life. We dance to many types of music from the traditional bluegrass to contemporary hip hop, and don't be surprised to hear tunes from other parts of the world like Hawaii and Algeria! Everything is fair game, we even take requests...

Description	[3:30-4:10] Classes are taught in progressive levels. The first section of class is devoted to those at the earliest level of clogging in attendance with the goal of developing the foundational vocabulary to better expand the students' skills.
	[4:10-4:50] The second section of class will be taught at a higher pace with the assumption that students have a working vocabulary for clogging. All levels are still encouraged to stay to get accustomed to clogging.
	[4:50-5:30] The final section of the class will be devoted to pushing the skills of the high level students in attendance.
Cost	$14; discount 3 month pass also available
Performance Workshops	Two performance workshops are offered annually where students focus on 3 dances with an optional performance at the end of the series. Classes are $16 with a discounted series rate available.
	Spring Session (March 20 to June 5) The focus will be on the following dances: The Tracks of My Tears, Boots On, and Say Hey. Performance on June 11
	Fall Session (September 25 to December 4) Special classes with guest instructor Kevin Smiley from Fresno! Performance on December 9.
Holiday Classes	December 11 & 18 will feature holiday tunes! No class on the 25th~ Merry Christmas!
