Steve’s family moved to California during the Gold Rush in the 1840s. Originally from Sanger, California, he has now made it as far as Alameda to work as an investigator for the Food & Drug Administration.
His dancing career began in early childhood, when his parents' square dance group decided it was easier to find a "caller" to teach their kids instead of multiple sitters. After being dragged by a friend to one of the Monday night clogging classes. His friend lasted one night and Steve has been suffering from clog fever ever since. The symptomology of this condition includes fun, excitement, and exercise so there has been very little reason to find a cure.
Dancing, however, is not his only vice. Steve enjoys travel, photography, flea markets, and classic cars.
