Dale Petros
[1991 to present]

Dale Petros is a software engineer who designs systems used by cable television companies.  He was born and raised in Modesto California.  A second generation Californian, he now lives in El Dorado Hills, above Sacramento.

His first exposure to dance was a ballroom dance class in college where he discovered that he was a natural.  He later became interested in country western 2-stepping and line dancing.  It was there that he saw a clogging demonstration by Sacramento's Sutter's Stompers.  He started class the very next week and began dancing with that group, eventually becoming director of their performance group.

Shortly after his first Northern CA Clogging Convention Barbary Coast asked if he would be interesting in trying out for their company and he has been with them ever since.

Dale considers dance to be an excellent form of therapy.  In additon to altering your mental state clogging is a great form of exercise.

In addition to dance, he enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, hiking or any other activity outdoors in the sunshine.
